KISS Strategy

I think the motto "Keep It Simple, Silly" (KISS) is a good one to go by when thinking about curriculum. Definitely stick to a routine (but be flexible if it isn't working out), don't feel a need to overwhelm the students with toys, games, songs, or activities. We stick to the same basic snacks every day with a little bit of variation, and we MAJORLY pared down the toys in the room after a few weeks because they saw it as an opportunity to dump everything instead of seeing the toys for what they were. Once we got rid of about 2/3 of what we had in the room, the kids could focus on the toys themselves, and we were much less stressed.
